Editing messages

Hello.

I updated AjaxChat (version 3.0.24) a week ago on my board (phpBB 3.1.11, then 3.2.1 since today). Since updating AjaxChat, editing messages is problematic. Now, when we click "Send" in the edit window, nothing happens. We have to manually close the window and refresh the board index to see the change. What can be done to solve this problem?
