I like it and I like the hidden fuel filler door ;) ... Question though..... why is it you have made the box to 3/4 length of the tray ??

everyone asks that

it's so there is a work surface at the back with nothing on the sides so whatever is being worked on can hang over. look in the 3rd post of this topic, 7th pic... it is the same as it always has been ;)

Well damn !!! that is a gooder idea :) Hear in Australia we just take all the side off of the back and work but I can see the advantages to this way :D

currently working on the stereo... here's what it is going to be :D

head unit. it's an entry level unit but still a decent one
Sony CDX-GT565UP
CDX-GT565UP.jpg
2 Boss Audio P120F 12" 1400 watt subs
1400 watts max - 700 watts RMS each
P120F_FACE.JPG
a Soundstream PA1.5000D amplifier
PA1-5000D.jpg
the subs will be going into a custom sealed box that i'm building myself. will post a few pics of that when i get it done ;)

sub box is built... but not finished yet ;)

cut all the pieces using a table saw at work
20161023_132417.jpg
then built the box
20161023_145512.jpg
20161023_145519.jpg
cut the holes for the speakers...
20161029_193553.jpg
test fit :D
20161027_134025.jpg
now, i just have to carpet and wire the box and save a bit of money to get my amp and install everything :D

head unit is already in the truck with a set of 6.5" Fusion FES-6025 Encounter speakers in the doors so i at least have some tunes. while the Fusions are not that bad of a speaker, they are getting replaced with a set of Alpine SPR-60 Type-R's that were given to me http://www.crutchfield.ca/Alpine_SPR_60 ... click=4880. i will need to get another small 2 channel amp to drive them as the head unit does not put out near enough power to drive them. what i'm thinking of actually doing is, if i leave the Fusions in the factory door speaker mounts, and put the Alpines in the bottom of the doors with baffles, then i would get even more sound... not sure which way i want to go with it yet

will my alternator be able to keep up with 2 amps... i will be finding out when i get everything done
