FA or not...

Post by spaceace »

i need to work on updating my styles to phpBB 3.2.x

i need to know if my users would like to maintain the current look of the icons in my styles or if you would like me to put in the Font Awesome(FA) icons that are stock in prosilver of phpBB 3.2

and example of the difference can be found on 2 of my test boards...

standard 3.1 image icons... look at the icon next to the FAQ link in the header
https://31.livemembersonly.com/

now for a Font Awesome style in 3.2... look at the same FAQ link
http://32.livemembersonly.com/

keep in mind that if they are added to my styles, they will not be the same colour as in those 2 links as they will fit the colour scheme of my styles ;)

if you like my work and would like to contribute to my development of styles, please donate by using the donate button in the header.

And second thoughts, you could have your own icons and images for your custom style. There is nothing saying you have to use FA icons. I know all the work you had to put in to get all of those images setup. It would be harder to switch over to FA from what you have now.
