new look for my .50...

after a few years of decision... i finally decided to blue my .50 Hawken. originally it just had a brushed metal finish pictured here with my daughter. the picture was from several years ago as she is much older now :lol:

the bluing is far from perfect and i do plan to redo it at some point when i get the time as well as patience to do it again :roll:

Looks to me like you did done a pretty sweet job ontje blueing. I'm surprised to see that you have fibre optic in the front sight! My Penny has the blade unlike yours, I may look into something like that though as I'm assuming it makes getting a beed on target that much easier?

mine has always had fibre optic sights on it. but i also have the original sights that go with it ;)

and yes, they make the sights a lot easier to see in high and low light

and the bluing turned out a lot better on my 195 Mossberg .12ga
